Our client in Bromley is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Social Worker to join their Adult Services team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic service, helping vulnerable adults and their carers achieve positive outcomes through person-centred, strengths-based practice.
š¹ Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Care Act 2014 assessments for adults and carers
* Develop, coordinate, and review care and support plans
* Participate in duty services, including responding to safeguarding concerns
* Undertake Safeguarding enquiries and Best Interest Assessments (BIA) where required
* Provide advice, guidance, and support to service users and carers
* Monitor and review care packages to ensure positive outcomes
* Commission services and authorise expenditure within agreed limits
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
* Participate in multi-agency and multidisciplinary meetings
* Chair safeguarding meetings, case conferences, and planning meetings where appropriate
* Support and supervise staff in line with council procedures
* Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
