Havering are recruiting experienced ATM/Advanced Practitioners for roles within their Children with Disabilities Teams. Please note that this is a case-holding role with supervisory elements.
These teams will focus on:
- Carry out high-quality assessments, using child-centred, community-focused, and multi-agency interventions to bring about positive change through developing effective relationships and to secure the best outcomes for children and young people.
- You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team that consists of Social Workers, Senior Social Workers, Family Support Workers, Short Breaks Assessors, Education Case Officers, Educational Psychologists, and Advisory Teachers.
- Manage complex caseloads, utilising specialist knowledge for appropriate interventions, needs and assessments, care planning, child protection investigations (CIN, LAC, CP, Court, Short Breaks).
- You will have a key role in ensuring social work contribution to Education, Health and Care plans, delivery of short breaks, and participation in preparing for adulthood.
- You will be supported in your role by the Team Manager and the Service Manager
Working Model:
- Hybrid model
- Flexible approach involving working from town hall campus/hubs.
- Expectation to work from our town hall campus during your teams duty week, for team meetings and other development days and at managers discretion some ad-hoc days onsite may be needed.
- Encouraging face to face working for teams as we know how important this is for social workers and all meetings with children and family take place face to face.
