AMHP Social Worker - Joint Homelessness Team | Westminster, London

We are seeking an AMHP Social Worker to join the Joint Homelessness Team. This is a pivotal role where you will lead and support a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery to some of the most vulnerable individuals in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise social work staff and oversee their caseloads.
  • Lead on social care delivery, including Care Act eligibility, personal budgets, and s117 aftercare.
  • Act as a Safeguarding Adults Manager (SAM) and investigate safeguarding concerns.
  • Promote recovery and self-care, working collaboratively with individuals, families, and carers.
  • Chair clinical and team meetings.
  • Hold a small caseload and undertake clinical social work activities.
  • Practice as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) and participate in the central AMHP rota.
  • Maintain professional registration and comply with AMHP statutory regulations.
  • Engage in regular supervision and continuous professional development.
