Job Description

The school is seeking a talented educator with strong subject knowledge who can inspire creativity across KS3-KS5. For the right candidate, there is the opportunity to step into a Head of Department role or take on additional responsibilities within the Art faculty.
The school is aiming to appoint the successful candidate before December 2025.
What You'll Do
- Teach engaging and inspiring Art lessons across KS3-KS5
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, and artistic development in all students
- Contribute to curriculum design and enrichment activities within the Art department
- Take on additional leadership responsibilities - mentoring colleagues, supporting curriculum planning, or leading department initiatives
- For experienced candidates: step into a Head of Department role and lead the faculty forward
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Art or a related subject
- Strong teaching experience with evidence of excellent outcomes in Art
- The ability to inspire students and foster creativity at all levels
- Ambition and vision to take on leadership responsibilities within the department
Excellent communication, organisational, and mentoring skills
