Tempest Resourcing is working with a specialist SEN setting in South London to recruit an experienced and committed Assistant Headteacher for an immediate start.

This is a key leadership role for a practitioner with a strong background in SEMH/SEN education, behaviour leadership, and staff development.

The Role

• Support the senior leadership team in the strategic and day-to-day running of the school
• Lead on behaviour, safeguarding, curriculum, or inclusion (depending on strengths)
• Line manage teaching and support staff
• Promote a positive, trauma-informed school culture
• Contribute to school improvement planning and outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

• QTS and proven leadership experience
• Strong SEN / SEMH background
• Experience in a leadership or middle leadership role
• Confident, calm, and resilient leadership style
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
