Overview
I'm currently recruiting for a Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist to join a specialist school for deaf children and young people in Balham, South West London.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced SLT with an interest in deaf education, particularly someone with British Sign Language (BSL) skills or previous experience supporting deaf pupils.
You'll work with children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs, delivering specialist assessments and interventions while working closely with teaching staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
The school is in a fantastic location in Balham, with excellent transport connections across South and Central London.
Requirements
- HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist
- Band 7 experience or equivalent specialist clinical experience
- Experience working with children and young people
- BSL skills are highly desirable
- Previous experience working with deaf or hearing-impaired pupils would be advantageous
- Confident managing a specialist caseload
- Enhanced DBS (we can put this in process for you)
