Role Responsibilities
- Supporting students with behavioural needs, ensuring they can engage effectively with learning.
- Implementing behaviour management strategies and personalised support plans.
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to create a positive and structured learning environment.
- Encouraging social and emotional development, promoting confidence and independence in pupils.
- Assisting with classroom activities and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
Requirements
- Experience working with children with behavioural needs, preferably within a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting children.
- An understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
