Our client in Blackpool is seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join their Assessment & Support Team.

š¹ About the Team
The Assessment & Support Team undertakes:
* Child & Family Assessments
* Child in Need planning and intervention
* Section 47 Child Protection enquiries
* Section 7 Private Family Court proceedings
* Preparation for Initial Child Protection Conferences
* Joint assessments with Housing for homeless young people
* Emergency safeguarding interventions and Initial Care Proceedings where required
The team works closely with families to build positive relationships, reduce risk, and prevent children's needs from escalating through early and effective intervention.

* Completing high-quality assessments and interventions with children and families
* Managing Child in Need and Child Protection cases
* Working collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver effective support plans
* Supporting families through a restorative, strengths-based approach
* Building trusting and meaningful relationships with children and their families
* Making informed decisions to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes
