We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organised Permanence Team Manager to support permanency tracking, coordination, and adoption activities for all the children in our care. This position has been established to provide enhanced permanency planning, strengthening oversight, coordination, and performance reporting across for the children in our care, with particular emphasis on children's journeys for the children we care for.
The successful applicant will collaborate closely with heads of service, group managers, social work teams, managers, and partner services to facilitate the timely advancement of permanency plans, ensure meticulous data tracking, quality assurance, and contribute to service improvement initiatives; including policy writing in accordance with national standards and local priorities. They will chair Permanence Planning Meetings, supervise the Court Progression Lead and a part time AP that leads on adoption work.
This role is ideally suited to individuals with experience in children's social care, with experience in permanency, adoption, and long-term care planning
