About the role:
Qualified Social Worker with at least 3 years experience working with children and their families, that experience must include post qualification experience of completing Child and Family assessments, s47 enquiries, Private Law reports and initiation of proceedings within Public Law.
Mix of visits and assessments. Equivalent of up to 15 families.
Home Visits will be essential
For these roles, the Social Workers would initially be completing safeguarding visits and taking into account travelling time, could reasonably expect to complete between 10-15 a week, and the social worker in consultation with me could complete several of these a day, with the following day working from home to complete write ups, or do 2-3 a day with write ups in between. How many are completed would depend on the location, but we could manage it so that several within the same district are completed on the same day, to minimise travelling.
Hybrid - 2 days a week in office
