About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher to join a specialist primary setting supporting children with Learning Difficulties, Autism, and Speech & Language Needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes
- Lead the day-to-day teaching and care of a class of pupils with SEN
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress and achievements
- Provide strong pastoral support to pupils
- Work collaboratively with parents, therapists, and external professionals
- Line manage and support Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) within the classroom
- Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school improvement
- Prepare reports for Annual Reviews and maintain accurate student records
- Participate in school activities including PE, swimming, and enrichment programmes
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Has experience working with SEN, particularly ASD or complex needs
- Is confident managing a classroom with additional support staff
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Is committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
- Is flexible, proactive, and a strong team player

This role involves working in a specialist setting, which may include:
- Supporting pupils with personal care needs
- Assisting with medical or therapeutic programmes (training provided)
- Participating in physical activities (e.g. PE, swimming)
- Working in a hands-on, dynamic classroom environment
