Education Health and Care Coordinator | Oldham, Greater Manchester

Tempest Resourcing is proud to be working exclusively with one of the largest multi-academy specialist trusts in Greater Manchester on an exciting opportunity. We are currently recruiting for an Interim Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Coordinator to support an 8-month project from November 2025 to June 2026, based at one of their schools in Oldham.

The role will focus on providing expert support on 40 Education, Health and Care Plans, specifically for their most complex children and young people.

This is a hands-on, specialist position focused on supporting Annual Reviews (including Emergency Reviews), contributing to whole-school development, and coordinating with families, local authorities, and external agencies.

Key Details:

  • Job Title: Interim EHCP Coordinator
  • Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
  • Contract: 8 months from November 2025 to June 2026
  • Working Pattern: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote (term time only, with some flexibility)
  • Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate Annual Review and Emergency Review meetings
  • Support whole-school training and development initiatives
  • Manage administrative tasks in line with the EHCP Annual Review process
  • Maintain and update both internal and external systems accordingly
  • Foster strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, local authorities, agencies, and colleagues
  • Contribute to school development KPIs (e.g., Pupil Voice, Parent/Carer Voice)
  • Support wider duties related to the Pastoral and EHCP role
