Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

Early Years Assistant - Westminster

A two-form entry primary school are seeking to appoint a full time, long-term an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and community school from September 2026,

The role will involve:

Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
Collaborating with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey
Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development
Assisting with daily routines such as mealtimes, nappy changing, and rest periods
Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children
Required Qualifications & Experience

- Level 3 in Early Years (ESSENTIAL)
- Paediatric first aid (DESIRABLE) but course will be provided
- Language: Arabic, Kurdish, Albanian or Bengali (DESIRABLE)
- Health & Safety and safeguarding practices
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and its implementation
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and understanding of the needs of young children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
