HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)
Location: Hillingdon

Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Pay: £130-£140 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a qualified or an experienced HLTA looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and welcoming primary school?

We are currently working with a vibrant three-form entry primary school seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team on a full-time, long-term basic with an immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher (PPA cover, short-term cover)
• Providing targeted classroom support across all key stages
• Supporting pupils with varying needs, including SEN
• Working alongside the teaching team to help raise attainment and engagement.
• Leading small group interventions and activities
• Assisting in the planning and assessment process where needed

Requirements:

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
• Previous experience working in a primary school setting
• Confident in delivering lessons and managing whole-class responsibilities
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
