Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - PPA Cover
Location: North East Lincolnshire
Start Date: Immediate / Autumn Term
Contract: Part-time / Fixed term with potential extension

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide high-quality PPA release cover across Key Stages 1 and 2.

About the Role

As an HLTA, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and engaging curriculum to classes during teachers PPA time. You will follow planning schemes of work provided, ensuring consistency and progression for pupils. Subjects covered include:

  • Phonics, SPaG, Reading, and Maths fluency

  • RE and Spanish (Kapow)

  • Computing, Art, and Music (Kapow)

  • Discovery/continuous provision and story time

You will work closely with class teachers and the wider team to maintain high standards of learning, behaviour, and pupil well-being.

What We're Looking For

  • HLTA status (or equivalent experience delivering whole-class lessons).

  • Experience working across KS1 and KS2.

  • Strong classroom management and the ability to engage pupils in a range of subjects.

  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and supporting every child to achieve their best.

  • A positive, flexible, and proactive approach.
