Homeownership Manager | Kent

We are looking for an experienced Homeownership Manager to join a small but successful team on an interim or fixed-term contract basis (3 to 6 months). You will lead a small, dedicated team of four and be responsible for all aspects of homeownership services including leasehold management, shared ownership, service charges, complaints and right to buy applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Homeownership team to deliver excellent customer service and operational performance, responding to complaints and aiming to keep these at a minimum.

  • Oversee all leasehold and shared ownership management functions, including staircasing, resales, and queries

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice

  • Manage service charge processes, including setting, consultation, and collection

  • Work collaboratively across departments to improve processes and resident satisfaction

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on homeownership issues

To be considered you will have proven experience in a similar role within the housing sector with a strong understanding of leasehold, shared ownership, and service charge legislation

You will have excellent leadership and team management skills coupled with being a confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset.

Interviews are scheduled for w/c 11th August.
