Salary: £25,500 - £26,000 per annum (Temp to Perm)
Rate: £12.50 PAYE / £17.00 Umbrella per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm (40 hours per week)

About the Role
We're working in partnership with Orisha Housing, a supported housing provider in Brent, to recruit several Arabic-speaking Housing Support Officers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in housing or social care. The role is ideal for individuals who are empathetic, reliable, and confident working face-to-face with tenants in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment.
You'll be part of a dedicated team helping residents maintain tenancies, access essential services, and improve their wellbeing. Training and full support will be provided, so direct housing experience isn't essential - but the right attitude, communication skills, and resilience are key.
Key Responsibilities
Support tenants in supported housing settings with day-to-day needs and tenancy-related issues.
Assist residents in accessing housing applications, benefits, and essential services.
Carry out welfare checks and ensure residents are living safely and securely.
Maintain accurate records, update case notes, and communicate with partner agencies.
Handle challenging situations calmly and professionally, seeking help from senior staff where needed.
Support the wider team in maintaining a positive, respectful, and safe environment across all properties.
Requirements
Fluent Arabic speaker (spoken and written).
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
Confident, calm, and capable of managing difficult or high-pressure situations.
Empathetic and approachable, with strong communication skills.
Willing to work full-time, on-site in Brent (supported housing environment).
Able to work with individuals facing complex or vulnerable circumstances.
Due to the nature of the environment and residents supported, male candidates are preferred for this particular post.
