Tempest Resourcing is proud to be working with a specialist SEN provision in Surrey supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school caters for students who require a highly supportive, structured, and therapeutic learning environment to help them re-engage with education.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 3 Teacher to make a genuine impact on young people who benefit from smaller class sizes, personalised learning approaches, and strong pastoral support.

The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to Key Stage 3 students
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of SEN and SEMH needs
- Foster a positive and safe learning environment
- Support students' emotional development alongside academic progress
- Work closely with support staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders
- Contribute to behaviour management and individual support plans
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Key Stage 3 (mainstream or SEN settings)
- Strong understanding of SEMH needs and behaviour management strategies
- Resilient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with students who may have complex needs
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
- References covering the last 2 years
