- Location: Mainstream College (based in SEN department - post-16)
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-5:00pm (potential for earlier finish)
- Pay: £16.22 per hour (PAYE)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join the Supported Learning Team at a mainstream college. You will support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning and develop greater independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with SEND in classrooms, workshops, and one-to-one sessions
Assist with academic tasks, including reading, scribing, and using IT
Promote student independence while ensuring a safe learning environment
Provide personal care, including toileting, hygiene, and medication (training provided)
Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
Escort students during off-site activities and assist with transport if required
Monitor progress and maintain accurate records
Support with exams, breaks, and behaviour when needed
What We're Looking For:
Good English, Maths & IT skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or above)
Experience supporting students with additional needs (in education or care)
Comfortable providing personal care and willing to undertake training
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, flexible, and committed to inclusive education
