Learning Support Assistant - Mainstream Primary Schools
Location: Redbridge
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term-Time Only)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £85-110 a day
Are you a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in children's education? We are recruiting on behalf of a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Redbridge, offering long-term opportunities through our agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils across the primary curriculum, both in class and through small group/1:1 intervention.
- Work closely with class teachers to adapt learning to meet individual needs.
- Provide support for pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN and EAL.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working with children (school, nursery, tutoring, youth work or similar).
- A passion for supporting learning and development in primary education.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
