Tempest Resourcing is urgently appointing a skilled and compassionate Nurture Teacher for a specialist SEN provision in Croydon / Bromley, starting September.

This is a critical role supporting pupils with SEMH and emotional regulation needs, requiring a confident practitioner who can establish trust, routine, and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured nurture interventions to individuals and small groups
• Support emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement
• Apply trauma-informed and restorative practices
• Work closely with pastoral and SEN leadership teams
• Maintain a calm, consistent, and supportive environment

Essential Requirements

• QTS (primary or secondary)
• Strong SEN / SEMH experience
• Excellent behaviour and relationship-building skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

Contract

• Full-time (part-time considered)
• September start
