Occupational Therapist - Learning disabilities and Autism/Mental Health

£35.00 per hour | West Suffolk

Overview

I am currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work with my client in Suffolk.

You will be working in the Learning disabilities and Autism/Mental Health team.

The contract is 37 hours per week. 2-3 days office, 2 days WFH.

This is initially a 6-month contract.

Main Duties

  • Providing safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate
  • Supporting with triage and reducing duplication between health and social care to reduce OT waiting lists.
  • Supporting external care providers to ensure correct and safe moving and handling tasks.
  • Completing reviews of care packages to ensure best value of services for ASC and best use of available equipment
  • Reviewing double handed care packages
  • Reviewing waking night
  • Reviewing packages of care
  • Mutual aid to other OT areas as required
  • Provide safe and timely delivery of OT assessments and reviews across the directorate.

Requirements

  • At least 1 years postgraduate experience
  • HCPC registered
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies.
  • Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)
