Occupational Therapist - Learning disabilities and Autism/Mental Health
£35.00 per hour | West Suffolk
Overview
I am currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work with my client in Suffolk.
You will be working in the Learning disabilities and Autism/Mental Health team.
The contract is 37 hours per week. 2-3 days office, 2 days WFH.
This is initially a 6-month contract.
Main Duties
- Providing safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate
- Supporting with triage and reducing duplication between health and social care to reduce OT waiting lists.
- Supporting external care providers to ensure correct and safe moving and handling tasks.
- Completing reviews of care packages to ensure best value of services for ASC and best use of available equipment
- Reviewing double handed care packages
- Reviewing waking night
- Reviewing packages of care
- Mutual aid to other OT areas as required
- Provide safe and timely delivery of OT assessments and reviews across the directorate.
Requirements
- At least 1 years postgraduate experience
- HCPC registered
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies.
- Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)
