We are working with a highly regarded, Outstanding-rated SEN school in Merton that is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils aged 3 to 19 with severe and complex learning difficulties, including those with autism and/or physical and sensory impairments.

About the Role:

  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Merton
  • Start Date: ASAP or September
  • Pay Rate: £100 to £110 per day (depending on experience)

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly those with complex needs and autism.
  • Be patient, resilient, and nurturing in their approach.
  • Be comfortable supporting students across a wide age range (Early Years to Post-16).
  • Be confident assisting with personal care and supporting sensory needs if required.
  • Work well as part of a team and take direction from teachers and therapists.
