Role Overview:
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join the trust. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the students' educational and personal development. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEMH needs
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students in developing social and emotional skills
- Monitor and record student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and positive manner
- A commitment to fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development (desirable but not essential)
