Are you a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Teaching and Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role?

We are seeking enthusiastic and nurturing SEND Support Staff to join a highly respected specialist provision in Chelmsford. This established school and college caters to students aged 3-19 years with Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties.

We are looking for individuals who are genuinely committed to making a difference in the lives of young people with complex needs. The ideal candidates will be kind, nurturing, and possess proven experience in supporting students with significant learning disabilities.

About the Role:

As a key member of our support team, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide personalised support to students, fostering their development, independence, and well-being. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting students with their learning and communication needs.
  • Supporting personal care routines where required.
  • Implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Contributing to a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
