Senior Social Worker - Children Social Care | Suffolk

About the Role:

Tempest Resourcing are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children Social Care Team in Suffolk. This role offers an attractive pay rate of up to £40 per hour, providing an excellent opportunity for a qualified social work professional looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Provide high-quality social work services to children and families in need, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assess and manage complex cases, including child protection, safeguarding, and court proceedings.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, partner agencies, and stakeholders to deliver effective support and interventions.
  • Supervise and support less experienced team members, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in line with statutory requirements and departmental policies.
