Our client in Devon is seeking an experienced and passionate Specialist Adolescent & Child Exploitation Social Worker to join their dedicated Children's Services team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with vulnerable adolescents who may be at risk of exploitation, extra-familial harm, missing episodes, family breakdown, and care entry. Working within a restorative and relationship-based practice model, you will play a vital role in helping young people build safer, more positive futures.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
* Build strong, consistent, trauma-informed relationships with young people and families
* Undertake holistic assessments that consider family, peer, community, and environmental influences
* Identify and respond to risks associated with child exploitation and extra-familial harm
* Develop creative and effective safety plans to increase resilience and reduce risk
* Work restoratively with families to strengthen relationships and prevent care entry where possible
* Lead safeguarding interventions and make informed, evidence-based decisions
* Collaborate with multi-agency partners to identify risk early and coordinate effective interventions
* Maintain accurate, analytical, and high-quality case recordings and assessments
