About the role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team in Wiltshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Undertake assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop appropriate support plans.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to coordinate and deliver services that meet the needs of children with disabilities.
- Provide direct support and interventions to children and families, including safeguarding vulnerable children.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and case conferences to review and plan the ongoing support for children and families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in line with statutory requirements.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
