Our client in Bracknell Forest is seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join their Children's Services team.

🔹 About the Role
You will manage a varied caseload and play a key role in safeguarding children, supporting families, and delivering effective interventions that promote positive outcomes.
The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding frameworks, and multi-agency working practices, alongside the ability to complete high-quality assessments and court reports.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload involving Child in Need, Child Protection, Care Proceedings, and Children Looked After
* Undertake Child and Family Assessments and develop outcome-focused plans
* Lead on safeguarding interventions and implement effective protection plans
* Conduct Section 17 assessments and Section 47 child protection investigations
* Work collaboratively with partner agencies to assess risk and support children and families
* Participate in the duty service and respond to child protection concerns
* Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, and court statements
* Maintain accurate and timely case records in accordance with GDPR and departmental procedures
* Engage in reflective supervision and contribute to continuous service improvement
🔹 What We're Looking For
✔ Qualified Social Worker with current SWE registration
✔ Strong experience within Children's Services
✔ Sound knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and thresholds
✔ Experience working within Child Protection, Child in Need, and Care Proceedings
✔ Excellent assessment, report-writing, and analytical skills
✔ Ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
✔ Commitment to professional development and supporting best practice within the team
