Social Worker - Duty and Assessment

We are seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join Halton's Duty and Assessment team.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments.
• Managing a varied caseload of children and families in need of support.
• Working collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to safeguard children.
• Undertaking home visits, building rapport with families, and ensuring that appropriate interventions are put in place.
• Producing high-quality assessments and reports for management and court purposes.Responding swiftly to referrals, assessing risk and need to ensure timely and effective interventions.
