Tempest Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Audenshaw to recruit a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
The Role:
Full-time position supporting primary-aged students with SEMH and challenging behaviours
Implementing and following positive behaviour strategies to help pupils engage and thrive
Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide consistent, structured support
Requirements:
Proven experience supporting primary pupils with SEMH/challenging behaviour
DBS on the Update Service (essential)
Team Teach training beneficial but not essential
Calm, patient and resilient approach with a genuine passion for SEMH support
