About the Role:
Tempest Resourcing are currently seeking a dedicated Team Manager for Wigan's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the MASH team and ensuring the effective coordination of services to safeguard vulnerable children and families.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Manage and supervise a team of social workers and support staff within the MASH setting.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure timely and appropriate responses to safeguarding concerns.
- Conduct assessments and make decisions regarding the most suitable interventions for children and families at risk.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to share information and coordinate actions to safeguard children.
- Participate in case conferences, strategy meetings, and reviews to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
