Are you a proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in Key Stage 1? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established 4-form entry Primary School based on its Infant and Nursery site in Thornton Heath, Croydon. The school is committed to providing an inclusive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils across the curriculum.
* Use effective behaviour management strategies to promote a calm, focused learning atmosphere.
* Assist with classroom preparation, displays, and learning materials.
* Support pupils with varying needs, ensuring inclusion and active participation.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience working within EYFS or KS1.
* Strong behaviour management and a proactive, hands-on approach.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
